Study Objective The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that this combination of personalized anti-cancer vaccination and stem cell transplant can cause patients' to develop an "anti-cancer" immune system and live longer than patients previously treated with stem cell transplant alone.
Protocol / Treatment Plan: Patients must undergo biopsy at Stanford University PRIOR to starting any therapy. Patients are treated with: 1 - standard chemotherapy 2 - a personalized anti-cancer vaccine, then 3 - autologous stem cell transplant combined with anti-tumor T cells ('immunotransplant').
Key Inclusion /Exclusion Criteria
(for details go to webpage indicated above)
1 - Patients must undergo biopsy at Stanford prior to starting therapy. 2 - Patients must be eligible for autologous stem cell transplant (under age 71 and in good health)
