Mantle cell lymphoma is an aggressive form of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). It is a relatively rare disease, constituting only about 6% of all NHL cases in the United States or about 3,000 cases per year.
The Mantle Cell Lymphoma Consortium (MCLC) was formed in January 2005 by the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) and is composed of more than 100 laboratory and clinical scientists from North America and Europe focusing their research efforts on mantle cell lymphoma. The MCLC is a program designed to accelerate the pace of research in mantle cell lymphoma. Our goal is to identify effective and curative treatment strategies for mantle cell lymphoma by funding innovative clinical studies.
