This year’s Mantle Cell Lymphoma Consortium (MCLC) Scientific Workshop brought together over 70 of the world’s leading experts in MCL to review their latest research findings and discover ways to translate this progress into improved treatments for those living with the disease.
The aim of this annual workshop is to accelerate advances made in the field of MCL by creating a forum in which to share data, exchange ideas, foster collaboration within the MCL research community and identify and prioritize areas of clinical and translational research that will have the largest impact.
Workshop attendees, comprised of Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) MCL grantees, members of LRF’s Mantle Cell Lymphoma Consortium and other investigators conducting cutting-edge MCL research, heard 17 oral presentations and viewed 9 poster presentations covering the following subjects:
- Biology of MCL
- Prognostic markers
- New molecular targets
- Chemotherapy, transplantation and cellular therapy
- Novel therapeutic approaches
Attendees were extremely pleased with the quality and diversity of presentations at this year’s meeting. LRF has developed a document that captures the highlights of each presentation. If you are interested in receiving a copy of the Workshop summary, please email ymaxwell@lymphoma.org
